Great Article Endeavour. You have a wonderful ability to see outside dominant narratives and soberly weigh the facts of a situation.
I think one of the best things Trump and his movement is doing for the world is forcing Canada and Europe out of the US orbit. Academic Agent mentioned the British Empire encouraging colonies to provide their own defence being a major factor in the success of de-colonial movements, since it provides the means to greater sovereignty. I have also seen that Trump’s actions have led to a boycott of American products such as Coca Cola, McDonalds and Netflix. That can only be a good thing.
What many people miss is that while Trumpism is opposed to the most overt forms of sexual degeneracy, it is still almost as bad as wokeism. The brashness, lack of decorum, oversexualised and overly made up women and obsession with single use plastic would have been profoundly shameful for any statesman (or just about anyone) pre-1960s. These values are also almost polar opposites of those of the 19th century, the Golden Age of the West. I wouldn’t want to raise my children in a brash Trumpist world in the same way I wouldn’t want to raise them in a Woke world.
It's excellent to see populism critiqued from the right in a manner more thoughtful than the typical sweeping, frothing-at-the-mouth denunciations from left-leaning publications.
There is still great right wing commentary on X, but it’s crazy to look at the follower counts for these slop accounts and compare with good, intelligent accounts. A bit disappointing but clickbait exists and works for a reason
We have decent criticisms. But do we have decent policies to improve things? Stopping the anti White DEI stuff is easy policy. A border wall and deporting criminals is ok but does not address broader demographic concerns. Family formation, online brain rot, lack of community, lack of good jobs, lack of Right elite institutions and representation in non right elite institutions... I didn't see great policies from our side. So instead we have slop from a low human capital oppositional culture.
Accepted on the banality of MAGA. However, it counters tge banality of the Far Left. Voladimir Zelenskiy is a lot worse than mere banality. Trump is like Metternich compared to him, invisible penis piano player, mincing around in a dress & gyrating in stilleto heeled boots like a homosexual dominatrix. How do you deal with a head of state like that? Exactly as Trump did. Extend nothing but contempt & disrespect. Fight fire with explosives. Trump was actually restrained. He should have severed all American ties with that evil, vainglorios, incompetent little time hobgoblin. That would have delivered tge end of the Russo-Ukraine War.
Worrying about "DECORUM" is a boomer Lincoln Project kind of thing. You can criticize the administration for not delivering on their promises, though it seems like they're at least trying and doing much better than we thought they would. But don't be a pearl clutcher over some ridiculousness along the way.
Most antisemitism is slop. "Look at how many Jews I counted.". "Look how Jews are collectivizing and pursuing their interests.". So what. Complaining and resentment is slop. Pursuing actual policies that better your people is virtuous.
Jewish modus operandi has been complaining, resentment, manipulation, subversion, agitprop, defamation, lawfare, murder and psyops to name but a few. That is much more than simple collectivizing and pursuing interests. Nationalists have attempted to advance policy for decades, and have always been met with ruthless opposition from the usual suspects. There is no playing nice with fanatics who view you as nothing but a tool or an enemy.
One of the main issues here is that political and mental capital spent on "slop" content represents capital not being spent on genuinely intelligent argumentation. Imagine if the X homepage was filled with so-far obscure right-wing facts or convincing polemics. That would do much better for attracting important, well connected and powerful individuals than fallacious emotional content.
you're technically correct, but you're overlooking an important detail. it is slopulism that elected Trump, not nuanced substack essays. the slopulsts are the dominant, vocal faction of the right, and they will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. Everyone to the right(from traditionalists,to the dissident,to the far right) are merely tagging along, appropriating disjointed victories that hardly belong to them.
to put a sizable amount of (misplaced,in my opinion) faith in Trump is one thing,to pretend like the slopulist don't represent the modern right,is another entirely.

I like Trump being an asshole who talks off the top of his head, I just wish he wasn't an illiterate buffoon.

The 51st state arguments are getting tiresome, and the tariff up and down game is equally irritating worse it is now boring and a non-topic.
At this point it looks as though Europe & Canada are just simply detaching themselves which is good.
A nearly perfect essay, except the fact that the WEF is controlling my toaster.

"It's like hearing every sentence passed through a blender, them having it reassembled by a toddler"
Brilliant! LMFAO

Great article but need to cut down on the introduction. We already know the history of populism and the definition of it.
Dead on!
Gee, I wonder why the anti-jihad angle is so zealously promoted? Hmm. Wonder who’s behind that? Ugh. Slopulism is all so tiresome.
But I have to say, I absolutely detest paper straws. Vive la plastic!

The quatari personality and way of thinking definitely seems different than the host
Thats how a <100 IQ consumer of slopulist antisemitism sounds like
This is what a malicious agent who can't admit or argue facts of history, sounds like.
Yeah, Im a satanic, talmudic agent of NWO Mossad. Another example of a slopulist conspiracy smooth brain.
Antisemitism is most popular in low IQ communities, like Blacks or Arabs. Not a coincidence.
Give me a break. Such an absurd comment.
Truth nuke. It detracts from a real problem.

Great article 👍🏻
Great stuff - disillusionment with *in your face* and *over the top* youtube thumbnails woke myself up to this way of thinking
I admit I am guilty of using thumbnail clickbait, but I hope the content itself is a little more substantive than the Quartering or Tim Pool.

MAGA has always had an element of low IQ and Boomer nonsense. However, the real problem is that populism doesn't work.
