I was at the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa and for the first time ever it made me realise that not only was I (and the people I went there with) not alone, but that there are a lot of us out there, even just in the area within driving distance to Ottawa. We just tend to think we're alone because we have no representation in the government or in the media. Our biggest problem is that we'd have to find a way to organise and develop networks. The Freedom Convoy was great just for seeing who else was out there, but it was a one time thing.
Honnetement, as a Franco-Canadien, I'm hoping to leave for greener pastures; namely European ones as I've come to regard Canada as already fallen and without hope. I don't consider myself particularly right-wing, but prefer to consider myself as Quebecois or Francais. I'd prefer to gain French citizenship but doubt it's in the cards, so that I'm considering moving to Poland before the end of the year, though as said I'd rather move to France.
France is in my blood, as my ancestors came from there, I love the histoire and lit and passionately love the old pays. If I must perish I'd rather it be on French soil, as it still has a chance to my mind in marked contrast to Canada.
